Nashville area faux finish artist, Joyce Cobb has been in the design industry for over 20 years. She began her career in faux finishes in 1994, studying internationally as well as at the top faux artist schools in Louisville, Kentucky, New York and San Antonio, Texas.
Inspired by a passion for nature and an excitement for the unexpected, she has an imaginative use of design and art mediums to create a one of a kind finish. Faux finishes can be applied to walls, ceilings, canvas art, cabinetry and furnishings of any kind. Outdated light fixtures can be redesigned for current trends as well as picture frames and mirrors.
Joyce has been gifted with a distinct sense of color, that has proven to be appreciated by many clients and makes it easy to work well with many others in any design field. Her work has been featured in numerous publications. She has been named top faux artist and designer over the past 5 years by Nashville House and Home. Joyce’s work has been a staple and enjoyed by many over the years in featured show houses locally and in the Tampa Bay market.
Joyce has had the privilege of working with many Nashville artists, sports personalities, restaurants, and many residential homeowners.
Joyce is happy to announce that classes will be offered in the near future. The studio is under construction! Class agendas will include workshops on updating kitchen cabinets, basic of faux for furniture of your choice, walls and ceilings.
